Cute little hotel. Not too far from shopping places. Lots of restaurants close by. Room was good-sized. Found the layout a bit weird. Bathroom first then the bedroom. Had water for drinking, which was appreciated. Had a lift although very old style (have to push the door to open) and it initially didn’t work from the ground floor. Good thing somebody came down so we could use it to go up. Appreciated storage for our Luggages. Nice classy lobby.

The fresh fruit and pastry attached to my door was a welcome surprise in the morning! The staff was friendly and the room was warm and welcoming. The lobby, too, was an inviting space to chat with fellow guests.

Quirky rooms in a great location. Our room was a work of art complete with projector screen, ceiling mounted speakers and lots of mirrors. Great location close to bars, cafes and restaurants. We got a little bag of fruit and pastry on our door each morning. The staff were very friendly and they were able to check us in early.

Lovely staff, they gave us an upgrade to a room with balcony. We got little morning snacks as well which was a lovely little touch. The receptionist was super nice as well and helped us print our train tickets. Location is amazing and cool interior design!

Check in was easy, rooms are really funky - we had two superior rooms, Alexa was a bonus, fabulous hair-dryer, location was excellent... Noviciado was the nearest metro Great bars & restaurants locally within 5 minutes walk... It's a bit of a BOHO area & a great vibe... Bed was really comfy... Enjoy - we had a blast! :)

Great location, nice decoration in the lobby and the rooms, friendly receptionist. I appreciated the little goody bags in the morning with small cakes and fruit.

Abalu Small Luxury & Design Boutique Hotel was perfect for our stay in Madrid, a few minutes walk away from Plaza Espana, Gran Via and the Metro, this small hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel is a protected building which adds to its charm. The breakfast was great, lots of cafes and restuarants nearby. Highly recommended.

The hotel was in a perfect location, on a great street in the bohemian Malasana neighbourhood, with an abundance of quirky bars on your doorstep. The room was nicely laid out , and quite spacious; double superior.

A very nice Hotel. I arrived Wednesday the 18 of January around 20.00 pm and after a very long trip ,and i was greeted by a very friendly , energetic , and very helpful Receptionist . ( From Asturias). Very good location , very nice and spacious room ,good size bed, good size tv etc. Its not my first experience with Abalu Hotel . But i keep coming back.(:

great location, you can feel home totally, nice vibes all good they sorted out all my issue, the receptionist in the morning at my check out was something else, super prepared and welcome like all the hotel staff, during my stay everyone was helpfull at any request, and that's what made the difference
